THE DOCTORAL INSTITUTE

DS 394 : Physiology, pathophysiology and therapeutics

The Doctoral School of Physiology, Physiopathology and Therapeutics (P2T) is accredited by Université Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC) and associated with the Institut Pasteur, Institut Curie, INRA, IRSN and Collège de France. It is a multidisciplinary doctoral school hosting approximately 250 doctoral candidates working in the field of life science, with a significant focus on biology, medicine and health.

The doctoral school's research covers the main fields of integrated physiology and physiopathology at the cellular and tissue levels of an organism. The areas of research of the teams affiliated with the doctoral school mainly address immunology, cardiovascular, renal and pulmonary physiology, metabolism and nutrition, cancerology and vision. The school has placed a greater emphasis on the increasingly important field of therapeutic approaches, both in the integration of host teams and the training offered to doctoral candidates.
