REGISTRATION RENEWALS

You're in the middle of your doctorate, your work is well under way, and you're making great progress – well done! Every year, you must renew your administrative registration. You must register with the Doctoral Information & Registration Office each year.

IN THE SECOND AND THIRD YEARS

You may register early in July.

Up to the third registration, registration is subordinated to the presentation of the report of the individual follow-up committee of the doctoral student

Deadline to renew your registration: 31 October

It's easy! Just log into your student record  and go to the "administrative registration" section. Check the applicable boxes and send all of the documents listed on the registration checklist by regular mail to the Doctoral Information & Registration Office for final approval.

You will then receive an e-mail indicating the fee to pay.

You will reconnect on the site of escolarité with your username and password, heading "paiement des droits". You will receive, after validation of you registration, your certificate of education by regular mail to the address you indicated during your online pre-registration.

Dispensation request for additional registration

If you do not present your thesis before December 15, you must register again.

Deadline to renew your registration: 15 December

Doctorates are normally completed in three years. However, exemptions may be granted by the university president, on a proposal from the director of the doctoral school and after thesis supervisor agreement.

Log into the site ("application" section). Once you enter the required information, you can download the dispensation request for additional registration form, to which you must attach proof of funding.

This document must include the opinions of all thesis supervisors and of the head of the doctoral school. Il must be submitted to the Doctoral Information & Registration Office, which will request approval from the UPMC President. 

The response will be sent to you by email. If your request is approved, you will log back into the site to finalise your administrative registration ("candidature/ acceptation", then "inscription administrative").

Unless your situation requires a individual reception, all the documents listed on the administrative registration summary, must be sent to the Information and Registration Office by regular mail. You will receive an e-mail indicating the fee to pay.
